Nairobi, Kenya – In a heart-wrenching turn of events, the body of 29-year-old Lydia Tokesi was discovered in Gataka Forest, Kajiado County, on Sunday, January 12, 2025, after she had been reported missing for over a week. Tokesi, a former student at Moi University, had last been seen alive on January 4, 2025.

According to reports from local news sources, Tokesi’s body was found in a deplorable state, with some parts missing, suggesting a brutal murder. The discovery has sent shockwaves through the community and her family, who had been anxiously awaiting news of her whereabouts.

Lydia Tokesi had recently taken a bank loan to purchase a motor vehicle for her boyfriend, Joseph Orwa, who is now the prime suspect in her murder. Tokesi was employed as a customer service experience officer at Kasha Technologies.
