Akothee’s Daughter Weds
Kenyan musician Akothee was all smiles as she attended her third daughter’s civil wedding in France.
The girl named Prudence and her boyfriend named Fairouz decided to register their marriage with the government on Saturday, March 22, 2025.
Akothee printed out the invitation card sent to her by her mother-in-law while analyzing the words in it where Fairouz referred to her as mother.
Prudence and Fairouz, who were looking stunning in their kitenge outfits, began their marriage ceremony at the Mairie de Rouen government building at 9am before hosting their guests at the Rodizio Brazil hotel at 6pm.
The talks at the event were in English and French.
Taking to Facebook, Akothee praised her daughter, calling her marriage a third degree, “Behold the official third degree which is every girl’s dream. My daughter Fancy Makadia has achieved it again. Two degrees and one marriage certificate.” she wrote.
The mother of five later clarified that she only went to witness the signing of the marriage certificate and not the wedding itself.
“The wedding is coming, I didn’t even need this, just have her father sign as a witness that he has blessed them, I’ve just become a flower girl,” wrote Akothee referring to Prudence Dominique’s adoptive father who is the biological father of Akothee’s stepfather named Oyoo.
The musician who is also a businessman says he is eagerly awaiting the day he will have the opportunity to escort his daughter to her wedding.
