Wamalwa Threatens To Sue Lawyer Ahmednasir Over Controversial Tweet

Outgoing Defense cabinet secretary Eugene Wamalwa has written to veteran lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi asking him to pull down a tweet allegedly linking him extra-judicial killing.

The CS through lawyer Donald Kipkorir has demanded Ahmednasir senior counsel to immediately delete the tweet and apologize.

The CS has further demanded a discussion with Ahmednasir within 24 hours on payment of damages.

“The said publication by Ahmednasir on his Twitter account accompanied by photographs of the “Five Men” who included Cs Eugene Wamalwa,” says the letter.

The letter further states that by the said words, in their natural and ordinary meaning , Ahmednasir meant and were understood to mean that, the CS was involved in or alleged complicit in extra-judicial killing of over 1,500 Kenyans and a murderer.

Lawyer Kipokorir further adds the said words also meant his client is no respector of rule of law, is contravention of the constitution ,a criminal , is co-conspirator in subverting Kenya’s judicial system, is engaged in the international crimes of genocide and crimes against humanity and was a marionette puppet.

The CS in his demand further adds that the said publication is engaging in dog-whistling by exposing him to mob-lyching.

According to the tweet by Ahmednasir, the five men include C’s Wamalwa, Interior Cabinet secretary Free Matiangi , Inspector General Hillary Mutyambai, Director of Criminal Investigations DCI George Kinoti and Director of National Intelligence Service Director Philip Kimeru.

The tweet by Ahmednasir reads “In the coming months these FIVE men must explain to KENYANS and the WORLD the process/procedures on how over 1500 KENYANS were extrajudicially killed by police and military officers under their command…Did they give the orders or were they were acting on orders from above?
