Police To Use Chopper Surveillance To Monitor Major Highways
The National Police Service (NPS) will make use of the NPS Airwing this festive season, they have said. The police will use the helicopters to survey major highways and give a birds point of view to the officers on ground in a bid to monitor the traffic situations.
Kenyans are being urged to be extra careful in order to maintain safety on the roads. Officers will also be out patrolling and stopping vehicles around the Christmas period to deter people from getting behind the wheel above the legal drinking or drug limit.
