How A Fake Jimmy Wanjigi Twitter Account Duped Many Into Believing He Was Buying Eliud Kipchoge A Private Jet

Kenyans on popular social media site Twitter today found themselves victims of believing a parody account. The account, parody to businessman Jimmy Wanjigi’s twitter account fooled many clueless Kenyans after promising to buy world record holder Eliud Kipchoge a private jet should he accomplish his feat to run a marathon in one hour 59 seconds.

Kenyans lobbied the replies of the parody moments after Kipchoge made history asking the man to keep his word and deliver the plane, falling victim was also famous clueless politician Martha Karua

Kenyans had a hard time telling whether the the account was real with the culprit behind the account committing to not breaking character. The account even asked Kenyans to leave their details for an after party which most thought was real and hundreds quickly replied for a chance to get an invite to the businessman’s home.

A segment of the population who believed the parody were however quick to fault the move asking the man to build a hospital instead.

Earlier today Eliud Kipchoge became the first human to run a marathon in under two hours, passing the 42nd kilometer mark at 1:59:40.
