A Lamu Bound Silverstone Plane Crashes At Wilson Airport
Silverstone passenger airplane that was headed to Lamu according to airport officials crashed this morning shortly after take-off at the Wilson Airport.
The aircraft had 54 passengers. The plane seems to have veered off the runway.
No fatalities reported, however, several injuries reported and victims have been taken to hospitals as emergency team takes over.
UPDATE: The Silverstone plane had 55 souls on board; 50 passengers and 5 crew members. 2 passengers were slightly injured and are receiving medical attention.
Aircraft Accident Investigations directorate is carrying out investigations to establish the cause.
