A Kenyan Diaspora Lobby group, Kenyans for Justice and Development (KEJUDE) has written to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission asking for a number of MPs investigated over dual Citizenship.

The constitution prohibits Members of Parliaments in Kenya from possessing dual nationalities.

In the letter dated 1st, October 2019, through activist Okiya Omtatah who is the executive director, KEJUDE has ordered for the audit of all members of parliament while choosing 11 members of parliament among them Aden Duale of Garissa as persons of Interest.

The lobby group wants the audit report disclosed in the next 15 days or it’ll move to the High court to seek coercive orders against the government.
