I Was Betrayed By My Best Friend, But The Twist That Followed Shocked Everyone
If you had asked me a year ago who I trusted the most, I would have said my best friend without hesitation. We had been inseparable since high school. We shared everything secrets, struggles, even business ideas. When I finally saved enough money to start a small boutique, she was the first person I called. She celebrated with me and promised to help me run it whenever she could.
But slowly, things started feeling strange. Customers would tell me they saw my “business partner” selling similar items elsewhere, at much cheaper prices. At first, I laughed it off because I thought they had mistaken someone else for her. But the rumors kept coming, and soon I noticed my stock disappearing without explanation.
One day, I decided to follow my instincts. I tracked one of the customers’ directions to where they claimed to see her. My heart sank when I saw her standing outside a shop that looked almost identical to mine, selling the exact same products my products! I was too shocked to confront her on the spot.
