DJ Joe Mfalme Arrested For Death Of DCI Officer
Popular Kenyan DJ Joseph Mwenda Munoro alias DJ Joe Mfalme was on Friday arrested alongside three others in relation to the death of Felix Kelian Kitosi, a police inspector based at the Dagoretti Directorate of Criminal Investigation office.
According to the police report seen by Kenya Insights, the DJ alongside three other police officers, two males and a female allegedly attacked and seriously assaulted Kelian in a road rage in the incident that happened on March 16, 2024, in Kikuyu area, near Kikuyu Police Station around 4am. Report says it was a non-injury accident and an altercation ensued.
Kelian would later complain of abdominal pain and other injuries sustained during the incident and was admitted at Nairobi West Hospital where he died on Friday, 22, while undergoing treatment. His body was moved to Umash Funeral Home pending autopsy.
