Coronavirus Patient Lived With 7 Others In Ongata Rongai
Moments after the confirmation of patient zero by the health ministry, a team from the rapid response unit was dispatched to Rongai where she was living.
The 27-year lady whose identity remains a secret, had traveled from the US to London and has been in Kenya since 5th March making it 8days in Kenya before the virus’s confirmation.
The government has said it traced and monitoring the people she has been in contact with since her arrival.
The team dispatched to Rongai has established that she was residing at Simba Drive in Ole Kasasi area.
Kajiado County health CEC Esther Somoire confirmed that the patient was living with seven others who have been taken to Mbagathi Hospital. Tracing and testing of all those whom the patient was in contact with and the chain link to her friends continues. The seven others could be linked to so many others.
