Man Confesses in Court That All His Wealth Came After He Slept With His Aunt at Her Request
A packed courtroom was left in shock on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, after a man openly confessed that his rapid rise to wealth was the result of a forbidden act — sleeping with his aunt as part of a ritual agreement.
The dramatic confession came during a land dispute case at the Kisii Law Courts, where 36-year-old Boniface Nyang’au had been sued by relatives over ownership of a three-acre plot, three apartment blocks, and two vehicles. His sudden acquisition of wealth had raised eyebrows among family members who felt sidelined.
In the middle of the proceedings, Boniface requested permission to address the court directly. After being granted the opportunity, he spoke in Kiswahili and Ekegusii, explaining how his aunt approached him five years ago with a strange proposal.
“She told me she had powers and could make me rich, but on one condition — I had to sleep with her,” he said, causing murmurs in the courtroom.
According to Boniface, he initially dismissed the request as insane. However, financial desperation and repeated pressure eventually wore him down. The two allegedly met at a local lodge where the act was carried out in silence. He claimed his aunt gave him a charm and warned him never to reveal what had happened.
“Within three months, things began changing. I got a new job, business picked up, and I bought my first car,” he told the court.
He explained that he had been living in guilt ever since and was ready to surrender everything if it would bring him peace.
The magistrate presiding over the case appeared visibly stunned but instructed court officials to maintain order as murmurs turned into loud whispers. To continue reading, click here.
