Somali House Seller Charged With Sh 3.6M Fraud

A house seller has been charged with defrauding a buyer Sh.3.6 million in a fake three bedroom house deal.

Abdirahman Mohamed Adam appeared before Milimani Magistrate Benmark Ekhubi and denied the charges.

Abdirahman is accused that on the diverse dates between 11 May and 23 May 2022, in Nairobi County, jointly with others not before court with intent to defraud obtained Sh. 3,600,000.

He together with others not before court obtained Sh.3.6 million from Abdirahman Hussein Osman by falsely pretending that you were in a position to sell him 3-bedroom unit house on a land parcel LR. NO. 209/89/11-NairobiI a fact he knew to be false.

Abdirahman was released on a cash bail of Sh.300,000 pending hearing and determination of his fraud case.

Abdirahman bid to arrest plea taking failed. Through his lawyer, he told the court he had paid part of the money.
