I Call Him Daddy, Mary Biketi Clarifies Her Relationship With Oparanya
Biketi clarified her relationship with Oparanya, saying she already knows herself and the kind of relationship she is in.
Mary Biketi, the woman whose photos with former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya went viral on social media, has denied leaking them.
Biketi while speaking to a local news outlet said she’s a private person and the latest media buzz has affected her by the attacks she has received from people claiming she exposed the former governor.
Biketi, stated that she could not leak the photos and would not want to expose him in that way. She is deliberating taking legal action against the person responsible for the leakage, as the action has affected their families.
She said she is not afraid of the backlash following the photo leakage and the assumptions that she is in a romantic relationship with Oparanya, as she respects the other wives.
She clarified her relationship with Oparanya, saying she already knows herself and the kind of relationship she is in.
“I am not afraid. He is a polygamous man and I respect the other wives,” she said.
“I call him daddy because I’m fond of him that way,”
In a video posted on her Facebook page, Oparanya said he has a family that needs his protection and that those sending out fake news should stop.
The couple who were seen together in public for the first time at the airport on Tuesday morning, had just arrived from a vacation in Mombasa.
