Billionaire Manu Chandaria’s Muthaiga Home Raided By Thugs And Robbed
Industrialist Manu Chandaria’s home in the leafy Muthaiga was raided by gunmen and robbed of unknown amount in cash and other valuables including jewelry on Sunday night.
The thugs are reported to have disarmed an officer manning the premises and tied three watchmen with ropes before making way to the building in what police suspect to be an inside job.
Police who responded to distress call reportedly shot some of the gunmen who escaped through the neighboring Karura forest and detectives are in hot pursuit.
Muthaiga ishighly secured estate is home to many VIP’s including the former President Kibaki and key envoys to Kenya namely UK and the US leaving many questions as to how such a robbery could have been executed.
