The Late Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore Cremated in Private Function
Safaricom CEOBob Collymore was today interred at the Kariokor Crematorium amid tight security.
Collymore passed away on July 1, 2019 at his Nairobi home after a long battle with cancer.
Bob had maintained his personal life private and this has come to surface even in his death. According to his wish, Bob was taken to Lee Funeral Home and quickly cremated.
Only family members and close friends were allowed entry into the cemetery where the police had put up a heavy security seal. Bob had prepared himself and his family on his death which according to his leukemia condition, doctors had told him he’d be lucky to make it to July.
A memorial service to take place tomorrow at 10AM at All Saints Cathedral.
