Space Lounge Lays Off Staff And To Close Down Officially
Popular Kilimani Club Space Lounge and Grill is laying off employees and closing down officially after a court order issued on 17th October 2019 ordered the government to revoke their permits and liqour licences.
The Environment and Land Court had directed the County government of Nairobi to revoke all permits and liquor licenses issued to KIZA, B-Club, Space Lounge and Explorers Tavern clubs after residents claimed that operators of the clubs “play loud music daily and host rowdy drunken revelers thereby depriving them of sleep and security.”
