Photos: Akothee Speaks Out Following Her Mini Dress To The Parliament Fiasco
Known for her controversy, the sassy singer caused a standoff in parliament when the security had blocked her entry into the only members restaurant where he had scheduled a meeting with nominated MP David Sankok over an upcoming event.
Security has reportedly claimed that her skirt was too micro for an entry into a ‘honorable’ space. In response to this, the singer says, “Its my legs that are longer than the skirt, trust me its not me.”
Akothee would later be allowed in only after being told to wrap her ‘nakedness’ in a leso which she did. Her heavy security was also kept away.
Akothee who has equally been active in sociology-economic activities across the country, is planning on launching her foundation officially. “I have invited the members of parliament to come join me in the official launch of Akothee foundation on the 28th september . I can’t make a change in turkana or the lives of people Alone without them! I need everyones support thanks alot waheshimiwa as I wait to see and shake your hands.” She signed off.
