Kenyans Banned From Travelling To Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia has banned Kenyans, citizens from the European Union and 11 other countries to the country from traveling into the country in a bid to deal with the rampant spread of coronavirus.
This new decision adds Kenya to the earlier list of banned extended flight and travel from Switzerland, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, the Philippines, Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, and Somalia into Saudi Arabia.
The country has also issued a travel ban to all its citizens into the named countries with the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) giving a 72hrs leeway for citizens and residents in the listed countries to return to the Kingdom.
No case of coronavirus is yet to be reported in Kenya yet. Saudi Arabia has confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom now stands at 45.
The Coronavirus has so far killed 4,635 people and there are currently 126,386 confirmed cases in 124 countries and territories since its outbreak late last year in the Wuhan City of China.
