Eliud Kipchoge Throws His Shot At Barack Obama After He Congratulated Him
World marathon record holder Eliud Kipchoge took to his twitter account to thank former United States President early Monday morning after Barack Obama congratulated him on achieving the INEOS 1:59 milestone.
Barack Obama, on his twitter congratulated the marathoner for becoming the first ever to break two hours milestone. He further congratulated Brigid Kosgei who set a new women’s world record in Chicago. “Staggering achievements on their own, they’re also remarkable examples of humanity’s ability to endure—and keep raising the bar.” The tweet read.
While replying Eliud thanked the former president and took the opportunity to request for a meet up with the man, to discuss how to work together to make the world a running world. “Thank you for inspiring me. It would be my greatest honour if we could meet, and discuss how we can make this world a running world. As a running world is a peaceful world. ” He wrote
