Daughter In Court For Defrauding Stepmother Sh110M Property
The daughter of late Eastleigh businessman has been charged with defrauding the estate of a parcel of land worth Sh110 Million.
Nadra Modhihiri Mohamed appeared before Milimani Principal Magistrate Gilbert Shikwe and denied the charges.
Nadra is alleged to have conspired to defraud the estate of the land LR NO.36/VII/465 measuring approximately 0.2085 valued at Sh110,000,000.
According to the charge sheet, Nasra forged a title deed of the said parcel of land purporting it to be a genuine, issued by the Ministry of land at Ardhi House.
Nasra faced another charge of obtaining the registration of the said land falsely. It is alleged that she prepared an indenture of conveyance in consideration for Sh30 million, claiming to have bought the land from her father.
Through her lawyer, Nasra revealed that the complainant was her step mother and being a family dispute, it was be resolved amicably.
She was released on a bond of Sh 1 million or an alternative cash bail of Sh 300,000.
The matter is to be mentioned on 13th December pending pretrial.
