Dramatic Scene in Kakamega Town After Woman Who Was Sounding Like a Dog is Fully Delivered From Witchcraft and Healed Forever

Kakamega Town CBD was brought to a standstill yesterday on Sunday when a woman who for years had been sounding like a dog got delivered from what was described as witchcraft and a dark spirit by one of the renowned traditional healers from Migori.

Videos circulating on social media captured moments when the woman was seen running erratically through the busy streets, making strange noises that startled traders and passers-by.

Witnesses said the unusual behaviour had been going on for several years, with many in her neighbourhood becoming accustomed to her high-pitched barking sounds.

Before a crowd could form, a small team of traditional doctors arrived and calmly covered her with a shawl before escorting her to a waiting vehicle.

By mid-afternoon, word had already spread that the woman had undergone a cleansing ritual that was said to have ended years of torment.

Shopkeepers who had temporarily closed their businesses to watch the spectacle later returned to find the woman walking steadily and speaking in a normal voice, which drew applause from curious onlookers.

Several traders in the area told reporters they had known the woman for years and confirmed that her condition had been a mystery to both her family and the community.

One boda boda rider recalled how customers would often point at her from a distance because of her strange behaviour, noting that many assumed it was a mental health problem. Others believed it was a result of a curse.

A woman who identified herself as a family friend said the family had exhausted different options in search of help, including hospitals and prayer sessions, without success.
