SGR Suspends The Food Onboard Directive
Kenya Railways has revoked a notice prohibiting all foodstuffs from the trains after negative customer feedback.
The directive prohibiting all the alcoholic beverages will however stand.
This comes after a woman decided to strip at the SGR Mombasa terminus when she was denied entrance into the train with food for her year old child.
On Wednesday, Kenya Railways had issued a notice that all passengers will be searched and food items confiscated at all the checkpoints at the termini and stations.
