Senior Judge’s Officials Allegedly Takes Millions To Betray CJ Koome, Protect The State In Sensitive Matters Amid Public Outcry

In what may look like serious integrity questions and setbacks within the judiciary, some sources within the government have revealed that Kenya’s Chief Justice Martha Koome may be on her own as of today and in the coming days after some senior judges officials were allegedly bribed with millions to abandon her and instead safeguard the state’s interests.

Sources privy to the ongoing conflict have revealed the names of the judges in question; however, their identities shall remain concealed for obvious reasons.

The revelations come barely days after the High Court dismissed the embattled ex-Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s petition that sought to stop Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s impeachment.

The contentious issue in the whole saga was how the bench that dismissed the orders barring Kindiki’s swearing-in was constituted, with the petitioners claiming that the CJ was not involved in the bench formation.

Reports from senior top government officials intimate that some judges who double as officials of a lobby group have been bribed with millions to expose the CJ, hence the increase in the current tribulations.

The source added that some judges are under instructions to maintain their silence and instead concentrate on their work rather than activism.

In her interview on Spice FM on Thursday, the CJ said that she has never been compromised in her career and all that she does is guided by the constitution.

“If any party approaches me, I usually recuse myself from that case,” she said in an interview as she tried to win back the public’s faith.

Already, a petition seeking the removal of the CJ was filed at the JSC earlier this year, and reports indicate that there are a lot of night meetings on how to kick her out of office. One of the judges mentioned above is a key player in the said meetings.

Further sources reveal that the judges in question were also warned against attacking or commenting on President William Ruto’s regime as part of the agreement of the payment.

Further details reveal that Chief Justice Martha Koome attacks may increase in the coming days even as the payslips of his juniors continue to shrink due to overtaxation.
