“Next Time I Will Put My D*ck In Your Mouth,” Indian Restaurant Owner In Nairobi Caught on Tape Abusing Staff
The recording, now viral on social media platforms, features Ghag making lewd and threatening remarks towards a staff member.
Sanjay Ghag, the owner of Grand Café & Indian Cuisine located in Lenana Towers, Nairobi, has found himself at the center of controversy after a leaked audio revealed him verbally abusing his African employees.
The recording, now viral on social media platforms, features Ghag making lewd and threatening remarks towards a staff member.
In the audio, Ghag is heard saying, “I will put my d**k in your mouth. You came here to work. Don’t f**k around. Next time, I will put my d**k in your mouth, I tell you. Work as I employ you, eh…” This has led to widespread condemnation and calls for immediate action from the public and labor rights groups.
Employees at the restaurant claim this is just a glimpse of the toxic work environment they endure under Ghag’s management. Several staff members allege that verbal abuse, threats, and unfair dismissals are rampant, creating a climate of fear.
Public Outcry
The leaked audio has sparked widespread condemnation, with Kenyans calling for authorities to take immediate action against Ghag and his restaurant. Many have taken to social media, demanding an investigation to protect workers from further mistreatment.
This incident comes on the heels of another workplace controversy involving Sanjeev Kumar, the General Manager of Taita Hills Resort. Kumar was recently caught on camera pouring water on a staff member and engaging in a heated altercation. He has also been accused of racial discrimination at the establishment.
Public reaction has been swift and vocal, with many Kenyans taking to social media to express their outrage and demand accountability. There is a significant push for governmental intervention to ensure the protection of workers’ rights and to enforce labor laws more stringently.
Despite the backlash, Grand Café & Indian Cuisine has yet to release a statement addressing the allegations against its owner.
