I Was Conned Over a Million by a Pastor, But My Revenge Exposed His Fake Miracles

Published

on

If someone had told me years ago that the man I trusted with my soul was nothing but a wolf in sheep’s clothing, I would have laughed. I believed in my pastor. I believed in his church, in his “prophecies,” and in the so-called miracles that made crowds scream “Amen!” every Sunday.

But little did I know, it was all an act, a performance to milk desperate people of their last coins.

It began when I fell into a rough patch financially. My business was crumbling, debts were piling, and my marriage was on the rocks. The pastor convinced me that I was under a “family curse” and that if I sowed a seed of faith, my problems would vanish. “God doesn’t bless empty hands,” he would say, as ushers paraded offering baskets.

I was desperate. So I gave. At first, small amounts. Then more. Eventually, over one million shillings disappeared from my accounts into his so-called “ministry.” Every time I questioned him, he would remind me, “Miracles take time. Keep sowing, your harvest is coming.”

I should have known it was a scam the day I saw a crippled woman walk into church with crutches, then minutes later, she “threw” them away, claiming she was healed. I clapped and cried like everyone else, but something inside me whispered, This is not real.

Months passed. No breakthrough. No blessings. Instead, my life got worse. Yet the pastor bought a new Prado, his children studied abroad, and his wife flaunted designer handbags. All funded by “our offerings.”

The breaking point came when I accidentally overheard two church members whispering. They were part of the “miracle team.” Paid actors! They pretended to be sick, blind, or crippled, only to be “healed” on stage. My heart sank. This wasn’t a man of God, it was a thief in a suit. To continue reading, click here.
