He Can’t Keep His Hands Off Me
For months, my marriage was hanging by a thread, though no one outside knew it. People still saw us smiling in public, but behind closed doors, our bedroom was cold, distant, and full of awkward silences. I had slowly lost interest in intimacy after giving birth to our first child.
My body felt dry and unresponsive, and every time my husband tried to get close, I would find an excuse to avoid him. At first, he was patient, but I could see the frustration building in his eyes.
Things got worse when I accidentally overheard him on the phone telling his friend, “I don’t even remember the last time my wife touched me.” My heart sank. I knew I was pushing him away, but I didn’t know how to fix it. I tried drinking more water, buying expensive lubricants, even taking random supplements that promised to restore my desire but nothing worked.
