Betway, Mozzartbet Amongst The Ten Betting Firms Okayed By KRA
Following the crackdown on betting firms by the interior CS Matiang’i, it has been a tough month as leading firms like Sportpesa and Betin struggle to get back on the trade after having their licenses suspended.
Government last week refused to renew licenses of 27 betting firms over tax compliance, it was further directed that their pay bill numbers be frozen literally shutting down their operations.
KRA has now cleared 10 betting companies whose licences had failed to be renewed by the government over tax compliance.
They are: Betway, OdiBets, Mozzartbet, Ken Bookmakers, Lucky 2u, Eazi Bet, Kick off, Eastleighbet, Palms Bet and Bet boss.
