Pressure Piles for Action Against Samuel Njonjo Wandue Over Fraud Claims
Samuel Njonjo Wandue is at it again. Barely few years after Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Performance and Delivery management Moses Kuria warned Kenyans to take caution while dealing with him, he is back luring unsuspecting Kenyans with too good to be true deals, at the end dashing away with their hard-earned money.
His Instagram page indicates that he is a director at S.N Holdings limited, sampreciousmetals and owner of both the exoticityachts.ae and Click trades.com.
In 2018, the cabinet secretary who was by then the Member of Parliament for Gatundu South noted that the suspect was using his name to dupe unsuspecting people most of them being women.
“There is this guy who has been conning people with fake stories of how he is close to me,” Kuria revealed attaching the suspect’s photo.
“If he tries some hanky-panky games on you report him to the police,” Moses Kuria cautioned.
According to records before the Kilimani Police Station in Nairobi, a claims analyst at Sidian Bank is the latest victim, crying foul after Samuel Njonjo defrauded him hundreds of thousands on promise that he would deliver to him original merchandise and electronics from United Kingdom and Dubai respectively.
According to statement (OB55/23/10/2023, Mr. Ayacko states that Samuel Njonjo Wandue of ID No 31320923 was refered to him by his colleague to hand over the original logbook and other documents to facilitate processing of a claim.
“While at the reception he informed me that he is a businessman with interest in motor trade, shipping of merchandise, electronics among other items from Dubai. While at it, he informed me that the imports are at a discounted price with current economic status in mind,” said Ayacko.
“In particular, I was interested in importing an original Manchester United Jersey and a laptop (HP Pavilio Aero AMD RYZEN 5600U). The two were to cost Sh25000. That on 11/10/2023, Simon Njonjo Wandue was to jet back from Dubai and deliver the items on 12/10/2013 at KREP Center along wood avenue at 2 pm,” he said.
Ayacko adds that Wandue failed to honour the agreement and rescheduled the delivery for 13/10/2013. He later called Ayackoinforming him that the consignment was huge and had to split into two with one consignment under the custody of his friend who is a cabin crew. To enable him deliver the two items, he requested for an additional Sh2000 which was to act as a token of appreciation to his cabin crew friend.
“When I noticed that the delivery was taking too long than anticipated, I made a call to him to confirm his location, he informed me that he had several deliveries along Mombasa Road and this would take longer.”
“I called him severally thereafter but my calls went unanswered after pocketing Sh27,000.”
