Businesswoman cum Fraudster Peris Mumbi Muriithi charged with obtaining hundred of thousands in fake TSC Fraud
Mrs. Peris Mumbi Muriithi, a woman at the centre of TSC employment fraud has been charged in court.
Peris Mumbi Muriithi was arraigned before a Nairobi Court for allegedly obtaining Ksh 355,000 from Moses Kyongi Nzuki by false pretending she was in a position to secure him employment at the TSC.
According to the charge sheet, Peris Mumbi on September 5,2023 at unknown place in Kenya, with intend to defraud, obtained from Moses Kyongi Ksh 355,000 pretending she was in a position to secure him employment as a teacher a fact she knew to be false.
Appearing before Magistrate Benmark Ekhubi, she denied the charges and was released on Ksh 100,00 bond with an alternative cash bail of Ksh 50,000.
