Man Accused of Defilement Walks Free in Dramatic Scene
Tension and silence filled the courtroom yesterday when a man who had been accused of defilement for nearly a year was suddenly declared not guilty and released immediately after new evidence unexpectedly surfaced shocking both the judge and the prosecutors
The man identified as Maina a 32 year old mechanic from Githurai had been battling the case since last year He was arrested after a neighbor’s daughter claimed he had lured her into his house and committed the crime Maina denied all accusations and insisted he was being framed
