CAF Interclub Knockout Stages Draw Set For Tomorrow In Qatar
The draw for the Confederation African Football Champions League and Confederation Cup knockout stages draw will be held tomorrow, 20 February, in Doha, Qatar.
The draw will lay down the path from the quarter to the final for the remaining eight teams in each of CAF Interclub competitions.
The quarter-finals of both competitions will be played over two legs, with the first leg of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League scheduled for 1 April and 8 April, 2025.
The TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final fixtures will take place on 2 April and 9 April 2025.
The clubs will also know their potential semi-final opponents with the draw for that stage held as well.
Both draws will feature the reigning champions of each competition: Al Ahly SC, title holders of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League, and Zamalek SC, the defending TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup champions.
TotalEnergies CAF Champions League quarter-final teams:
Al Ahly SC (Egypt), Al Hilal (Sudan), AS FAR (Morocco), Espérance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Orlando Pirates (South Africa), Pyramids (Egypt), and MC Alger (Algeria).
TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final teams:
Zamalek SC (Egypt), Asec Mimosas (Cote d’Ivoire), Al Masry (Egypt), CS Constantine (Algeria), RS Berkane (Morocco), Simba SC (Tanzania), Stellenbosch FC (South Africa), USM Alger (Algeria).
Winners of the Total Energies CAF Champions League will be rewarded Ksh 520 million, while winners of the Total Energies CAF Confederation Cup are set to pocket Ksh 260 million.
