Nairobi Commander Adamson Bungei Moved In New Police Reshuffle
Kiambu Police Commander Michael Muchiri has been appointed the new Police Spokesperson, following major changes within the National Police Service, announced by Inspector General of Police, Douglas Kanja.
Nyaga replaces Dr. Resila Onyango, who has been reassigned to the Diplomatic Police Unit as Commandant.
Other top officers reshuffled are Nairobi Police Commander Adamson Bungei who has been named the new Director of Operations at Police Headquarters.
The position was previously held by Coast Regional Police Commander George Sedah who has been transferred to Nairobi.
Kwale Police Commander Ali Nuno has been promoted to Coast Regional Police Commander while Dr. Mwangi Wanderi, formerly the head of the National Forensics Laboratory, has been appointed the new Director of Human Capital at Vigilance House.
Judy Jebet replaces John Gachomo as the new Head of Community Policing, Daniel Korir will command the Kenya Airports Police Unit (KAPU), and Michael Sang is the new Eastern Regional DCI Head.
Rosemary Kuraru will head the National Forensics Laboratory.
