Garissa University Attack Convict Commits Suicide
A terror convict behind the 2015 Garissa University terror attack committed suicide in the Kamiti Maximum Prison cells, police confirmed on Sunday
Reports indicate that the convict Rashid Charles Mberesero hang himself in his cell using a blanket.
The Tanzanian was serving a life sentence following his conviction in 2019 alongside two others Mohamed Abdi Abikar and Hassan Aden Hassan.
The November 2015 attack on the university left 148 people dead.
