Lenaola is the current head of the ICT departments and his comments seemed to have been taken serious by a section of judges, scholars and some prominent leaders in the country.
According to multiple sources, the CJ has already made some disturbing calls to justice Lenaola urging him to calm down saying that the matter will be addressed internally.
“The CJ feels that Justice Lenaola’s comment is a direct attacks to her, she just made him a call and told him to cool down at least for now,” a source aware of the matter revealed.
The CJ in the past few months has faced a lot of opposition from some of his Juniors in the Apex court among them two prominent Judges eyeing her position.
Sources revealed to us that the CJ is not in full control of the Apex court and the state has been using some two influential Judges to scuttle her influence.
A famous city lawyer has been consistently calling for her removal and furthermore this is not the first time the supreme has turned against the CJ.
For instance Last year, the Supreme court was divided in the middle with some Judges claiming that the CJ dictated to them and directed them to approve President Ruto as the president Elect. The CJ refuted the claims in a press release terming it fake.
According to verifiable sources, the DCJ is now the state points person in the Judiciary and Koome is of no importance to the executive.
There are some well orchestrated plans to bungle her out of office before the end of 2025.
Sources reveals that the CJ is on her own with no one interested to be associated with her including key officials with the Judges and Magistrates Lobby group
