Sportpesa Terminates All It’s Sports Sponsorships In Kenya
Having been out of business for over a month now, Sportpesa has finally called it quits with sports clubs. In a statement, the betting firm say they’ve canceled all their sports sponsorships in Kenya having been frozen.
Sportpesa day their efforts to get back on business has been frustrated with deliberate non renewal of their trade licenses.
Government had frozen operations for Sportpesa accusing them of tax evasion. The firm say they’ll resume the sponsorships should they get back to business.
Meanwhile Sportpesa employees have been sent on leave pending a probable retrenchment.
