Detectives waited for the lawmaker and arrested him as he left Royal Media Services offices in Hurlingham where he was on talk show.
The senator is said to have uttered inciting remarks on Saturday during the BBI rally in Narok and on Wednesday again on a live recording of the JKL show on Citizen TV.
“On matters of food security, what will our people eat if you take our land? They must remain as agricultural land, use legitimate process if you want to subdivide them,” said Olekina. “So long as I live, I will pursue justice for these people who I represent.”
The Narok Senator has held his opposition to Kenyans planning to buy Agricultural land in Narok County and subdivide them into plots for commercial purposes and has in the past issued stern warnings.
Ledama has made a lot of controversial statements about the ownership of land in his county by people who are non-Maasai
He has been taken to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations headquarters on Kiambu Road for interrogation.
