DCI Busts A Kuwait Fake Job Racket In Nairobi

The office of the The Directorate of Criminal Investigations-Kenya (DCI) on Tuesday night arrested eight fraud suspects who had been collecting Money from unsuspecting job seekers in a Kuwait Job Sham.

The DCI detectives from Central police station nabbed the eight at 680 & Clarrion Hotels in Nairobi.

Over 300 unsuspecting jobless Kenyans had been defrauded up to Ksh. 130K each allegedly to cater for Logistics, Training & Transport to Kuwait. Desperate and unknowing victims were promised to be transported to NYS HQs before exit to JKIA after paying the amounts. They would never start the training and were still waiting in vain for their journey to mature when the arrests were made.

From a series of Tweets from DCI Kenya’s official account, One suspect (a woman) believed to be from NYS HQs  who has been receiving the Money estimated to be in the range of Millions is still at large. These eight suspects: Franline Otieno, Kevin Olondi, Stella Cheruto, Joseph Gikonyo, Catherine Ngendoi, Habiba Shafi, Aisha Mohamed & Mary Ogola are set to be arraigned in court after being processed.
