A commercial director working for a local radio station has been charged with threatening to kill her business associate more than three years ago.
Farida Idris Mohamed, the commercial director at Capital FM appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Lukas Onyina and denied the charge of threatening to kill businessman Hussein Aila Amaro and using unprintable words.
The charge sheet stated that the woman sent several messages to Hussein Aila Amaro through her Safaricom line number, threatening to kill him.
It is alleged that she sent the messages on the 14th day of June 2019 at 10:14 hours at unknown place.
The alleged message read, “Now tell me what the f… you will do to me and you see I will finish you and bloody Swarna combined.”

On the second count, she allegedly sent the message on the same date at 13:59 hours at unknown place, to Hussein stating, “I Will kill you and if I get that Swarna you have been fucking while you were with me and still f… every day…she will know who I am then the two (2) of you can continue f… in HELL” stated the second message.
In a series of threatening messages from Farida to Amaro , she further threatened him by sending the text message with capital letters indicating that “I will kill you with my hands and drag your body on hot tarmac until nobody can recognize that rotten body of yours then burry you before you proceed to hell,”.

The magistrate directed her to deposit cash bail of Sh100,000 in court to secure her release.
The prosecution have listed more than five witnesses to testify in the case.
Farida appeared to plead to the charges after she was slapped with summons by the DCI to appear in court.
